The Real Estate Professional

Cathy is regularly featured in the RE/MAX Top 10 Individuals in Queensland. She has recently been ranked no. 9 in RE/MAX Top 100 Individuals Internationally.

Cathy Lammie Fig Tree Pocket Property and West Brisbane Real Estate SpecialistCathy entered the real estate industry in 2003 and is a fully Licensed Real Estate Agent with a broad range of industry experience and knowledge. She markets and sells property across Brisbane with a particular emphasis on the Western Suburbs.

Regarded by her peers as somewhat unorthodox, yet a true professional, Cathy is a natural networker (both socially and professionally) and is known to collaborate with others in the best interests of her clients. This has seen her career fast-track to success.

In 2004 she won her first Award for Excellence at the REIQ annual awards. In early 2005, Cathy joined the RE/MAX Property Centre Team at Toowong, taking out awards each year and in 2009 she became the No.3 RE/MAX Agent in Australia.

Becoming part of the RE/MAX team has enabled Cathie to uniquely model her business around her lifestyle and family’s needs. She has developed a successful marketing style that enables her to tailor her services to the individual needs of each client. She created Fig Tree Pocket Property to focus on Fig Tree Pocket, not just because she loves the area but she believed the property was being undersold. Her agency has worked hard to change that for the people of her neighbourhood.

“As a real estate agent, I am in a privileged position with my clients and I take their privacy very seriously. I have not created a formula that ‘sells’ houses, yet I know what will sell a house and what won’t. I work for a seller until their house is sold. Experience has shown that the shelf-life of an interested buyer is about two weeks, so I make sure that my client’s home is priced appropriately and ready for contract.

I don’t believe in being anything but honest and straightforward. My clients will always know I am being realistic with the price and working hard to make a sale. Life is too short to spend it on the ‘smoke and mirrors’ style of selling. I don’t recommend auctions. I prefer to work for my commission. Houses go on the market with a price or ‘by negotiation’ and my success statistics speak for themselves.” Cathy
